Here is video of Greenwood native Billy Perry stealing Sony digital reader books, "whatever the hell those are". Somehow I don't see Billy being an avid "reader". Anyway, what I found interesting is that in every shot he is wearing the same shirt. The first rule of being a thief is don't stand out. Come on Billy it's thievery 101. Here's my guess at what the APB said, White male, bald, tiny head, big ears, and wearing a "where's Waldo" shirt. Shit Billy, Ray Charles could have spotted your ass. Also, any thief worth his salt knows you go for the big score, one and done. Billy stole $6,000 dollars worth of shit in 5 states. With gas prices what they are these days, traveling across 5 states can cost more than $6,000. Not to mention beer, smokes and nudie mags. Where's the profit margin? It just doesn't make sense. And what the hell Commonwealth? This story has been up for three days and still the lead story on the Commonwealth.com is how Billy is trying to get his store back open. That's just complete incompetence. The qualifications for being a "NEWS" journalist at the Commonwealth must be "breathing". Click the link below for the video.
