Grumpy Old Man's Locks of the Week

Last week we opened up with a great Utah win but ended up with a losing week because of Nick Sabin’s aggressive spread cover…..for gods sake man just kick the damn field goal……
On to this weekend’s winners….
In the college ranks…..lets play the big letdown line.

Take Purdue plus the 17.5 at Iowa . This line is too large for the Hawkeyes to cover, especially after drinking corn whiskey all week.



Now I am going to give you a 2 team NFL Parlay.

As most of you know, I am a major Manning fan. I have been keeping up with Peyton and Eli for many years. In doing so I have noticed that since the brothers are both playing in the NFL there is a trend not many handicappers have picked up on. They usually will play well at the same time or play poorly at the same time. I call it the bloodline bailout!
Each week I usually will play with or against them both.
This week we take the points in both matchups!
Play them separately and a small parlay and you will come out ahead this weekend!

Houston + 9 over Indianapolis – They always have trouble with Houston .


Baltimore +7 over NY Giants - The Ravens are playing great and the Giants are going to hit a comfort level with that big lead in their division.
