Pretty incredible considering the entire set is made of ice. I don't know how or why this guy went there with the ice, but I was impressed.

THE LONELY ISLAND
While watching "Role Models" last night with some friends, I noticed one of the actors in the movie was Jorma Taccone from The Lonely Island. To my suprise, when I brought this up no one knew what I was talking about. The Lonely Island is a three man comedy team consisting of Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer. All three are writers on SNL and if you watch the show you will recognize Andy Samburg as an actor too. Their debut album "Incredibad" is currently #1 on itunes. Everyone knows their singles "Lazy Sunday" and "Dick in a Box" but some lesser known others like "Jizz in my Pants" and "I'm on a Boat" are just as funny. Here are some Monday morning videos for your enjoyment. Be careful at work. Most have some language.
JIZZ IN MY PANTS- The name speaks for itself
I'M ON A BOAT - I think this is my favorite one. I would have to guess they are mocking all the rap videos that take place on yachts.
DICK IN A BOX - Everyone knows this one.
LAZY SUNDAY - The first one to make it on SNL

Basketball Contest: The Recap- Way to go Mac!!
Well I wasn't completely accurate with my prediction earlier concerning Mac working the mid range area and staying away from the paint. A vast majority of the baskets were made under the hoop. Sure they flashed a little range, hitting a few three balls, but this game was played in the trenches and won by MacArthur 21-17. A hard fought battle between two entirely out of shape individuals that really came down to the wire. When we asked MacArthur when he knew he had it in the bag, he said, "after I made that last basket." Right you are MacArthur, right you are.. However things weren't all rosy on his end. On the way out there MacArthur was quoted as saying, " This was a mistake.... I am already winded from the drive out here." This foreshadowing proved to be right and wrong. As it was not a mistake because of the narrow victory and the fact that he won 4 bartabs paid for by the unfortunate loser in Flanagan. However, the lungs and chest of Mac would disagree. Much pain has been put on this man from his efforts on the hardwood. On the ride back MacArthur said, " I didn't exert any muscles except my lungs". Painful as that sounds, it is true. A smoke break was requested at point number 11, however it was not honored due to lack of smokes.
The game started off slow with both sides missing out on there first four attempts. At this point, us onlookers were thinking that this was going to be a long one. But they both settled into a groove and put forth a fine display, some would call it futility, but I like to think of it as a fight for survival. Stats wise MacArthur held his on with a double-double, 11 boards to go along with the before mentioned 21 points. In addition 3 blocks were recorded for MacArthur. Overall, Mac went 10 for 26. Stats out of Flanagan camp were 7 for 20. She did hit a few clutch three's to keep her in the contest to go along with 5 boards and a blocked shot. Yes, she threw Macs stuff out once. Fatigue was obvious on both sides, I got tired watching and am sure that I botched a stat or two, but to the victor goes the spoils.... 4 bartabs to be redeemed at you neighborhood Webster's food and drink. Is a rematch possible?.?... Not from where this writer was watching, but who knows. Pictures to follow as soon as they are recieved from a third party contractor.

Tonight: Basketball??

Basketball you say? No, not the NCAA tournament. A different type of B-ball. A simple game of 21 between two fierce competitors. On one side our very own MacArthur, the other Kate Flanagan. This is not your run of the mill match up between boy and girl, old and young. There is a bar tab at stake here. A month long bar tab at that. I am not sure if I can reveal the location of the event, as I am pretty sure it is not sanctioned and there could be some potential repercussions. Upon first hearing of this challenge, I immediately sided with Kate. She is younger and doesn't have 15 years of living like Keith Richards under her belt like MacArthur. But I am not counting Mac out on this one. While old and probably pretty out of shape, he could bury the mid range jumper back in the day. Anything outside the paint I gotta give to Mac, but then again, I have never seen Kate shoot the rock. She could be a beast from 15 feet and in, who knows. I don't really forsee anyone taking control of the paint, this will all be jumpshots. Anyway, tip is at 7 and details will be provided by myself and a local sports writer.
