Orgeron to decide Thursday

Fresh off the news that LSU will name John Chavis as the new Defensive Coordinator, Tigerbait.com is reporting that Ed Orgeron will decide tomorrow whether to join the defensive staff at LSU or stay with the Saints. Reportedly, Orgeron has been offered a large salary by Miles to be defensive line coach, associate head coach and recruiting coordinator. All indications are that Orgeron will return to college football at LSU. I'll be the first to admit that I made more fun of Ole Miss when they hired him as head coach as anyone, but LSU is not hiring him as head coach. LSU will be getting a very good DL coach and the best recruiter in the country. Just look at the team Ole Miss fielded this year. No one can deny what O did for Ole Miss in the way of recruiting. Add this to the fact that LSU is already going to have the #1 recruiting class in the country this year and this could be scary for the rest of the SEC. I'll wait til tomorrow to get too excited as he is apparently "still deciding".
